Sol De Goa – A Luxury Retreat

The combination of sandy beaches, scenic water bodies, water sports, sea food, local market, music and night life is GOA. Nature is at its full bloom in Goa from June to September so one fine day in September on a rainy afternoon I booked myself a ticket to Goa with a one night stay at Sol De Goa which eventually turned into two nights.

Sol De Goa, Aerial View

Set among trees on the Nerul River, this polished boutique hotel near LPK, 3.9 km from Sinquerium Beach, 7 km from Fort Aguada and 10 km from Casino Royale Goa. Sol De Goa is a gem in midst of nowhere and that makes it all the more appealing. Most of the places take help of the surrounding nature to boost up their USP not Sol De.

I love being alone. I love sitting in a cafe and drinking coffee after coffee. I love watching out of my window endlessly. I love to talk out loud to myself. When I am sitting alone in a field I feel like I am merging into an oblivious unity with the universe. Because you are all you need. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . #travelrealindia #incredibleindia #igersofindia #sheisnotlost #indianphotography #indiatravelgram #picoftheday #photooftheday #IndiaPictures #storiesofindia #igramming_india #photographers_of_india #indiaclicks #_soi #desi_diaries #lonelyplanetindia #agameoftones #inspiroindia #dslrofficial #moodygrams #artofvisuals #ig_color #YourShotPhotographer #_woi #beautifuldestinations #CNTGiveitashot #bbctravel #voyaged #mangofolk

A Goan heritage with Goan Portuguese ethos and infused with luxury, the hotel opens to a pool courtyard with star-lit sky and a second emerald pool lined with swaying palms on the outer deck overlooking the paddy fields. It’s set away from the crowds that throng the beaches, but close enough to be at the beach yourself which means no missing the sunset.

Rooms are spacious and well decorated. Washrooms also up-to the mark. Best part is hospitality and cleaning. The towels, bed sheets everything is spotless and fresh every time they change it. I stayed for 2 nights in this property and was never disappointed.

Breakfast menu was limited but everything was fresh. Even tea they serve is not prepared and stored instead freshly prepared every time. The food is excellent in taste and value of money, yes while ordering it you will think it is expensive but after tasting it you will realise you have utilised your money well. The staff is one of the most polite and well trained, a rarity today.

It is an introvert place which is a different world on its own. A facade with articulated windows and a gracious entrance welcomes you to this world. This place is for anyone and everyone who loves to have a serene and laid back time but still loves Goa! Over all a very good place slightly away from the hub bub. If you are looking for a little oasis where service and quality is important, Sol de Goa should be on your list!
